Pharmaceutical ePedigree / serialization has the potential to be one of the most important and costly business initiatives of the next decade. It is a (state and federal) government mandate to provide unit-level serialization and also an “interoperable electronic system” to track “the smallest saleable container” of prescription drugs from manufacture to end-customer.
